The Kahoe Air Balance Company, an Ohio Corporation, has been in the sole business of testing, balancing, and commissioning heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems for over thirty years. Our corporate office is located in Cleveland, Ohio and several branch offices are located throughout Ohio and western Pennsylvania to serve our customers. The Kahoe Air Balance Company proudly tests, balances and commissions systems throughout the nation and worldwide. AABC is an international organization of independent test and balance companies. Kahoe Air Balance, founded in 1960, is proud to be a charter member. Our founder, the late H. Taylor Kahoe, was a past president of AABC. He helped establish the National Standards For Total System Balance, a guideline for the test and balance industry. To become an AABC (Associated Air Balance Council) member, a company must be certified. The firm must have at least one Registered TAB (test and balance) Engineer on staff. Kahoe has several of them, each with 20-plus years of experience. Kahoe's field technicians, located in four midwest offices, are also AABC qualified. Kahoe engineers and technicians have tested and balanced environmental systems for all types of buildings. Having completed the USAF Peacehawk IV Project in Saudi Arabia, our experience is worldwide. What We Do Our systems approach to our work necessitates knowledge of a wide range of technical areas and as a result, the list of services we offer is extensive.
Armed with calibrated tools, skilled Kahoe engineers and field technicians are prepared to make your building's environmental system perform up to its design potential. All Kahoe field offices have the latest state-of-the-art test instruments:
Systems Approach HVAC systems require periodic assessment to assure proper performance. Even if you are not experiencing obvious problems, your system can still be costing you a lot more than it should to operate. Also an HVAC system which is performing to design requirements may not be doing the job if you've modified your facility since your system was installed. Such modifications might include remodeling, added computers and/or added copying machines. |
